The Welsh Assembly Government (WAG)?and the Wales United Nations Committee On The Rights Of The Child (UNCRC) Monitoring Group 's Let's Get It Right! conference takes place this Thursday 12 March.

The conference, held at Holland House in Cardiff from 9.30am-3.40pm,?aims to:

- Raise awareness of children and young people's rights and the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child's Concluding Observations 2008

- Review progress on realising children and young people’s rights in Wales and work together to identify children and young people’s rights based solutions

- Contribute to a national?five year children and young people’s rights action plan

Who Should Attend?

If you are a policy maker, practitioner or professional working for children and young people or you are a child or young person, this conference is for you.

- Eleri Thomas, Head of Save the Children Wales and Chair of the Wales UNCRC Monitoring Group

- David Hawker, Director of the Department For Children, Education, Lifelong Learning And Skills, Welsh Assembly Government

There will be a series of participatory workshops to discuss the areas of development highlighted by the UN Committee On The Rights Of The Child.
