My Words, My Voice

Do you like writing, reading, literary puns, or a good game a Scrabble? If so, then join me at Chapter Arts Centre on April 28th for the second edition of My Words, My Voice, Cardiff’s first under 25 open-mic night!

This event aims to provide young people with a friendly and exciting space to share their poetry, prose, monologues, improv/comedy routines, or anything else they are working on! And, for those who don’t write or want to share, there will be mingling and literary board games aplenty, so come along and join the fun!

All are welcome but you must be under 25 to read. Young people from East Moors Youth Centre will be kicking off the night, but there will be plenty of time for everyone else to share their work. So, if you would like to take the mic then please bring something along and sign up when you arrive. We will aim to start the readings around 7pm so make sure to sign up a bit earlier to avoid disappointment!

We had a brilliant show of Sprouters at the last event and hope more will come along to help us create a great space for writers, readers, and literary lovers alike!
