Drumming, circus skills, music, dancing, writing, drama, crafts, MC-ing, graffiti art, juke box cinema, dragons....
Join us as many of Cardiff’s leading community arts organisations come together for a day of colour and activity at St David’s Hall. Find out more about the valuable work artists do with local communities. Workshops, displays, performances – something for everyone. Families welcome. Special workshops for young people. Admission free

Workshops:
- Writing workshop with Academi (10am-11am, 1pm-2pm)
- Circus skills with the famous No Fit State Circus (10am-12.45pm)
- Drumming and percussion with Community Music Wales (10am –11am, 12pm –1pm, 2pm – 3pm)
- Pre-school music with WMC (10.30am-11.30am)
- Drama workshop (12.30pm-1.30pm)
- MCing and graffiti (12.15am-2pm, 2.30-4pm)
- Gamelan workshop (1pm-2pm, 3pm-4pm)
- Mask making (1pm-2pm)
- 'Making a Beat' with Grassroots (11am-12pm)
- Recycled jewelery workshop by the Makers Guild in Wales (10am – 10.45am, 11am – 11.45am, 12noon – 12.45pm, 1.30pm – 2.15pm, 2.30pm – 3.15pm, 3.20pm – 4pm)
- Jewelery Making t.b.c (2pm-3pm)
- Chinese art workshop (2.30pm-3.30pm)
- African dance (2.30pm-3.30pm)
- Hip Hop dance (3.30pm-4.30pm)
Performances:
- WNO and Academi performance
- SWICA will be performing their carnival theatre piece ‘Dragon’ (12pm)
- Cardiff Gamelan
- Bands on the steps: Gwen Raymond, Bethan Williams and Inconsiderate Parking (12.45pm)
- Chinese Dancers (BVSNW at 1.30pm)
- Bands: Sharks Don't Sleep; Zepher; Without Your Reflection; Kyshera; and MCs and young and up and coming bands from Grassroots (2.45pm-4.45pm)
- Samba Galez (3pm)
- African dance (3.45)
Extra stuff (all day):
- ProMo- Cymru and theSprout are setting up a juke-box cinema and chill out zone, where you’ll be able to watch some of Cardiff’s best community films.
