Sprout Editorial Group Meeting (all welcome)

www.TheSprout.co.uk is a website designed to give young people in and around Cardiff a platform to be heard by those in charge. The site is run entirely by young people (aged 11-25) and anyone within that age bracket is welcome to get involved.

While you can contribute to the site at any time, on the last Thursday of every month we hold an informal meeting in Cardiff Central Library (Meeting Room, Floor 4 - ask at reception if yo...u need directions) to meet face-to-face and talk about how you want to see the site develop.

These meetings are a great excuse for a free trip into town (we refund your bus/train tickets) as well as an opportunity to get your hands on free CDs, DVDs and tickets. All we ask in exchange is that you contribute to the site in whichever way you wish: we're always after news, reviews, photographs, videos, artwork, creative writing and anything else you have to contribute.

If you would like to make your voice heard, come along to one of our monthly meetings. Everyone is welcome, so please invite your friends.

If you have a particular topic you wish to have discussed, please drop a quick email to arielle@thesprout.co.uk so she can make sure there's enough time on the agenda and enough biscuits to go around. Our talks have ranged from proposals for free trips, to talks about differing attitudes to teen pregnancy, to heated discussions over whether Team Edward is better than Team Jacob. We've also had a few jam sessions from local bands (the meeting rooms in the library are soundproof), so there really is something for everybody.

Our site's alright, but with your help we can make it awesome.
