Stop Motion Men's myspace blurb - THE STOPMOTION MEN are a unique hybrid of music and film based in Cardiff and Bristol. Our live performances offer a combination of alternative rock with cinema-esque visuals.
Hailing from Aberystwyth, Cardiff and Bristol ‘THE STOPMOTION MEN' draw their inspiration from artists such as Muse, Danny Elfman, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Darren Aronofsky and David Lynch. They have scooped various film festival awards - Winning 'Best Music Video' at the Newport International film festival for 'On all your walls', 'Best Music Video' at the JVC Digital video awards for 'It's all going to catch up with you'. They have also scored the soundtrack to Swansea Film festival Winner 'The Girl, The Gun and The Desert'.
The band have recently recorded an EP - What Now? - with long-time Manic Street Preachers producer Greg Haver and are eagerly awaiting its release. Keep watching this space for more details...
