A Foetus To Its Mother
Mummy please don't kill me
I don't want to die
Even though I'm going to make you cry
You created me so please don't lie
I cannot see you
But I am snug inside
Every day I hear your heart beating
Its thumping rhythm sends me to sleep
Mummy I love the food you eat
I can't wait to be with you on the outside
Can you feel me when I move?
Mummy I know I wasn't planned
But please mummy don't ever forget
I am yours like no one else
Now don't betray me
Don't let them flush me out
I love you and you love me
Mummy please don't kill me.

I really like this peice, and it makes me wonder if an un born baby has thoughts like these?

If I may be devil's advocate here: there is more to life than a beating heart.
