Grassroots Cardiff Proudly Presents...

A Night For Haiti

Thursday 18th March
Clwb Ifor Bach (The Welsh Club)
Doors Open @ 19.30

Following the terrible disaster in Haiti last January, Grassroots Cardiff is holding a special event at Clwb Ifor Bach on the 18th of March to raise vital funds that are needed for the earthquake victims.

For this cause, the talents of 4 great unsigned bands have joined forces:

Some Kind Of Leader (Cardiff) - 2010 is the year for this Cardiff-based Ian Brown-meets-The Charlatans four piece, they aim to delve deeper into the realms of riffs and electronics and take their music and send heads spinning.

The Fuel (Bristol) - This energetic four piece indie-rock band from Bristol have had an amazing year playing the BBC Radio 1 Introducing stage at Glastonbury Festival and other prestigious events.

The Stanley Band (Porthcawl) - Voted Best Unsigned Act in Wales 2009 by Nation Radio and currently working on debut album produced by Paul Durant.

On Off Switch (Bristol) - Recently enlisting the vocal talents of ex-Thundershock member Kat Cheadle, this electro punk quartet hailing from Bristol is set to finish the night off in their renowned explosive way.

£4 entry (£3 with a flyer/NUS card)

All proceeds go to the people of Haiti!
