Biscuits & Asterisks: April's Editorial Meeting
Seeing that the weather of April swapped around with the weather of May, here are the minutes from April’s meeting in May.
It’s taken a little longer than usual to get them up as they are a little longer than usual, as we had even more great ideas and discussions.
Plus my hand needed to recover from writing the minutes down. Stop sniggering.
Anyway this month topics covered included the “Free b” Bus Protest, an advertising policy, biscuits, asterisks, the other BNP (British Nigerian Party), biscuits, taking over St David’s Hall in October (Cardiff Festival of Community Arts), site design, elite editorial squads, and the possibility of a Sprout MP.
The minutes can be accessed here as a word document.
Also at the meeting, we handed out CDs, tickets, travel reimbursements, biscuits and plenty of tea.
Hey, why not come along to the next meeting at 4.30pm, Thursday, May 27th. It’s on the fourth floor of Central Library. If you take the lift (and who can blame you), turn left when you the doors open (otherwise you’ll just be walking into a door repeatedly like Russian soldiers on Goldeneye. Boom! Didn’t think I’d squeeze an N64 reference into this) and we’re in the room at the end. Or ask the lovely peeps on the front desk.
But before you do come could you drop us an email so we’ve got enough biscuits (Editor, Arielle: arielle@theSprout.co.uk, Sub-Editor Dan: dan@theSprout.co.uk or Sub-Editor Sam: sam@theSprout.co.uk)?
This month’s biscuits: Chocolate hobnobs and custard creams.
