Busk On The Usk
Busk on the Usk is a fantastic looking free music event happening in the Riverside Theatre and the University of Wales Newport Campus next Saturday (30th June 2012).
Apparently it’s the “Welsh Contemporary Music, Arts and Regeneration contribution to the London 2012 Festival” but what really matters is that the mighty duo of Green Man Festival and Swn are behind it, which means there’ll be some cracking bands including:

You can grab tickets from here but you better be quick! Each gig requires a separate ticket and rumour has it that it’ll work like a cinema does rather than a gig. But even if you miss out on tickets there’s free entertainment all day with street theatre and food stalls and seminars and stuff. Get on it!
