Design Youth Gateway’s New Logo
Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves a competition on our hands and a prestigious one at that.
We’re looking for artists, graffiti heads, designers, illustrators, sketchers, or generally creative peeps who know that the pen is mightier than the sword.
Why? We want you to design the new Youth Gateway logo.
If your logo is chosen, it will appear on advisers’ t-shirts and hoodies; it may even become part of our marketing, apperaring on posters, websites, leaflets and all things Youth Gateway!
Aside from the prestige there’s booty too, with the person winning first prize getting an iPod nano and the two runners up receiving HMV vouchers.
The Rules:
- You must be 11-25 years old and living in Wales.
- You must incorporate the words “Youth Gateway” and “Porth Ieuenctid” into the design.
- Your logo has to look good if printed in black and white or in colour and at various sizes.
Closing date for submission of designs is 26th February 2010
Submissions will be reviewed by the organisers to make sure they are within the rules and those that are will then be posted here on this very website for visitors to vote for their favourite.
Youth Gateway organisers will make the final selection based on a combination of votes received and production considerations.

Youth Gateway is run by Careers Wales Cardiff and Vale and provides extra help for young people who are unsure what to do after leaving school or college or who are experiencing difficulties in finding the right opportunity.
