Honestly, Girl Scouts?

Aren’t our generation supposed to be the accepting generation? The generation that will change things for the better?
Well then why, just why do we still have people that think shoving their ideas down our throats will “change” us or shut us up. I mean, don’t get me wrong I’d happily accept that they have a different belief system and happily accept them performing ceremonies and traditions I would not partake in, but I would never try and prove them wrong.
I may or may not believe in God, if I didn’t, would I need to take it upon myself to make a video, a campaign and a boycott in order to force my beliefs down their throats. No I would not. What enrages me further is the lack of education these people have; they do not understand how hard it is to accept yourself even in such an accepting society if you are LGBT!
To be able to identify your own gender, and partake in activities that are specified for this gender is remarkable! But, then to have this massive milestone of acceptance trodden all over is demeaning. To be told, no, you can’t do that because even though you know deep inside yourself what gender you truly are, you may have the physical appearance of the other gender. It’s wrong and it angers me. I’ll leave it at that before I really go mad.
I know there are many more issues thrown up in this boycott but I needed to rant my part.
At the end of the day, we are all human.
