I Have A Voice
Created for a creative writing project at the CLIC conference last year, where we were only told to use a title of “I have a voice”.
I have a voice, but cannot be heard,
I can speak as loud or as quiet as I like,
Yet no one will hear me speak.
My mind races to try and find a new voice,
To help people see the real me,
They hear the voice I use sometimes,
But still this is not me.
The joy and sorrow I try to share,
Yet again my voice is so unclear,
I have a voice,
I have a voice inside of me,
It whispers and shouts, listen to me dear,
Yet again when I speak I’m so unclear.

I like this. It seems so true for the younger generation. Not many of us are actually heard. I really like this a lot. Well done for writing it. Kepp up the good work :)

Thanx Tansi and yes that is true, not many adults will actually listen to kids and even people who do sometimes take in something completely different.

I honestly think it's truly unfair! Sometimes us 'kids' have something great to say that could change a lot of things.
That's one of the best things I like about theSprout. You can share your views and everyone believes you!
