Avid Sprouters will be well aware of the Inspire Awards, the Cardiff Against Bullying team’s annual shindig that rewards those who stand up to bullies and the inspirational peeps across Cardiff who go that extra mile to offer help, support and friendship.

They’re back for 2010 and are looking for nominations. Do you know someone who deserves some recognition? Maybe you know four people for each category, like some master anti-bullying talent spotter, the Simon Cowell of nice people say?

The four categories are:

  • Primary School Pupil
  • Secondary School Pupil
  • School Staff
  • Community Member (which includes play workers and youth workers)

Nominations for the Inspire Awards are open until October 22 and the awards ceremony will be held during Anti Bullying Week on November 17th at City Hall.

The Inspire Awards are an excellent opportunity to say thank you and recognise a child, a young person or an adult who has enhanced the lives of others through their acts of kindness.
