Occasionally at theSprout we’ll stick up the odd job advert that we think looks pretty sweet. So today here’s some information about a job at Save The Children.
The position is of Development Officer and is based in Cardiff. Here’s the blurb?
"You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a clear commitment to children’s rights and the principles of children and young people’s participation. You will have an understanding of the issues, policy framework and legislation affecting children and young people in Wales. You should be able to work on your own initiative, be highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
Key tasks include: working as a member of the Unit and the Save the Children team, networking with a range of stakeholders and the ability to initiate and run pilot projects. You must be able to communicate effectively with children and young people who are at the heart of the work of the Unit. The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage, but is not essential. You must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle".
The wage is a rather specific £26,822 per annum and the deadline is Midnight, August 12th.
Want more details? Then go to the jobs section on Save The Children's website and type in reference 5257.
Good luck!
