Hi Sprouters and Sproutettes,

On behalf of Loud & Proud (LGBT) Youth Provision I wish to send you all a big thank you for the support theSprout and Sprout users everywhere have shown the LGBT community.

Thanks to theSprout for making their logo into a rainbow which shows that everyone is equal and to the Sprouters who have reported on the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender) History Month Education Conference.

This conference was well attended and it was good to see the celebrating of LGBT History all across Cardiff and Wales.

I can't say that Cardiff and the world are a safe place for the LGBT community but we are all working hard and tirelessly to make the world a better place for all.

I also know that Cardiff County Councils School & Lifelong Learning Department and also the Equalities Department have been over the moon about the amount of coverage for LGBT History Month and they appreciate what has been going on this website.

I hope we can build on the coverage of the LGBT identity a lot more on theSprout and hope that next year we can get even more articles and even more events for LGBT History Month 2012!
