Photomarathon!
Once again Cardiff’s Photomarathon is back back back to test your eye, your imagination and your feet.
What the blazes is a photomarathon, elSprouto?
Well my intrigued friend, quite simply it’s a marathon photography competition. Spanning 12 hours from 10am-10pm on June 20th you’re given a 12 picture film and 12 topics, revealed throughout the day. Then you take one picture that encapsulates that topic. Simple as that.
The competition isn’t about technical perfection but about the brilliance of your idea. The prizes are yet to be announced but I can tell you that every entry will be displayed in the Visitor Centre (The Old Library), The Hayes.
So you will need a 35mm SLR camera, a good sense of improvisation, fun and creativity and probably a £3 day to go bus ticket.
