Poem: Eternal World

  • Cosmic Eye

Time carves lines
On youthful faces,
Love and loss
Still leave their traces,
But flowers blossom,
Rivers flow,
Waters fall,
And grasses grow.

Seasons change,
Just like before,
Summers cool
And winters thaw,
Storms will rage
And lightning strike,
Winds will whisper,
Blizzards bite.

Mountains reach
Into the sky,
Fish will swim
And birds will fly,
Ships will sail,
Far out of sight,
Children play
And battles fight.

But when all
Is said and done,
Moons replace
The distant sun,
The stars will dance
From high above us,
They're the eyes
Of those who love us.

Eternal World
Will keep on turning,
But now at last
We all are learning,
We must succeed
In our endeavour,
To make our world
Last forever.

Wow this is really good. It's been a while since I've read a rhyming poem. I really like this a lot! Keep up the good work! :)
