A short Cardiff film highlighting the accessibility to young people's personal information is now available on Sprout TV. In two parts, Saveloy And Chips is the story of Dave (Tom Purchase) and his apparantly wayward but ultimately clued-up friend, Pete (David Sanford), who set out on a quest to find out just how much information people including your parents and the police have a right to know.
As Eira Owen-Frazer, Information Sharing Officer at Ely & Caerau Children's Centre explains:

"All young people benefit from organisations that work well together to support their needs and development. It is important that organisations working with young people have the correct information about them.
"This DVD has been compiled to inform young people in Cardiff that you have the right to ask organisations if they hold personal information about you, what it’s used for and to view the information that organisations hold.  Young people also have the right to know whether organisations disclose personal information to other people and to ask them to correct anything that is wrong."
