Sherman Cymru Re-Opens
This weekend sees a great Cardiff institution re-opens its doors to the public.
After two years of being closed for a major redevelopment to the tune of £6 million, Sherman Cymru is open again with two theatres, a new welcoming foyer and a revamped cafe bar.
If you would like to see the reopened and renewed venue, you can do so this weekend as on Saturday 4th February they're hosting an Open House of Sherman Cymru. There will be workshops for all ages beginning at 10am, while the evening's entertainment will be in the cafe bar, where you can enjoy some free live music from 9 Bach and Amy Wadge & Pete Riley from 7pm onwards.
The list of the workshops and programs:
- Puppet making (10.30am - 1.30pm)
- Guided Tours (10.30am - 5.00pm)
- Story Telling (11.45am, 1.45pm, 3.45pm)
- The Last Supper of the Ghost of the Sherman Cymru (11.00am - 5pm)
- Specialist Tours (12.30pm, 2.30pm)
- Sherman Sherbets Sessions (Age 4-6 2.00pm - 2.45pm; Age 7-9 3.00pm - 3.45pm)
- Circus Skills (2.00pm - 5.00pm)
