Have you ever thought about giving surfing a go? Well you can!

Now Cardiff doesn't really have any places to surf (even though we have a surf shop in town) but who says you have to stay in Cardiff? You could jump on a train or a bus and go to Swansea where some of the beaches are great! There are a number of cool places to go on The Gower - Caswell Bay, Oxwich Bay and Rhossili Bay are particularly popular. Most days the waves are awesome!

Surfing can really be a relaxing activity. Just hearing the wind and the birds, even just seeing the sunshine makes you feel free. Surfing is a great way to get things off your mind and just concentrate on the things you enjoy.

Maybe you should go for it, give it a try!

I'm ashamed to say that I lived in Cornwall for three years and never went surfing. Did have a few bashes at skimboarding though, it was easier to do while eating a pasty.

Got something to say?
