The Match!
I was writing a couple more poems in my poem book the other day and I got inspired by the Wales versus England rugby match so here is my poem about it, please let me know what you think.
Family and friends gathering to watch Wales win,
We are going to destroy England and throw the remainders in the bin.
Getting excited when we are close to a try,
England then gets in the way, why oh why oh why?
The goal is to keep on going without stop,
Then we will definitely reach the top.
Penalty after penalty, the points going up,
At this rate we will win a few trophies and a cup,
Tension in the room to see if the last second was a score,
It's so tensed, I feel like I'm banging my head against a door.
The room filled with a roar of cheer because Wales won,
I could do this everyday as it was so much fun.
