Vampire Attack

This story has been written for the journalism course with theSprout for the Summer Learning Festival. This is not real!

The city of Cardiff is drowned out by the sound of screaming as an attack of ravenous vampires takes place night and day.

The normal routine of life, shopping, traffic and fun in the city centre is all up in flames as a supernatural attack takes place. Vampires are only real in nightmares, but now all the nightmares are true. Lives have been lost and nowhere in Wales is safe.

At this very moment, brave soldiers from the army are putting their lives on the line for the safety of Welsh citizens. At the moment, soldiers are focusing on Cardiff because this area appears to be the source of the vampires.

The number of soldiers are dropping faster than the number of vampires and the Welsh Assembly fear that there might not be any Welsh soldiers left, so they have brought many from England and Afghanistan to help in Wales. If the numbers keep dropping, they may need to recruit normal men like they did in the Second World War, but, this will be used as a last resort.

If you can, stay in your homes. Move away from the city for this period of chaos. Do what ever you can to keep safe. Soldiers will be dropping around houses to give supplies out to people one day next week.

Don't panic! Do not fight back!
