Win £100 With Reading Power Book Club
You know the Reading Power Book Club? You may have seen the little banner on the front page, or the new big scrolling one, or seen us on the big screen in Queen Street, or maybe Arielle popped into your school assembly, or maybe you saw it featured on our Facebook fan page or maybe you’re just awesome and know about cool stuff like the Reading Power Book Club, which is our online reading group.
If you didn’t know about Reading Power before here’s a good reason to sit up and take notice – you could get your hands on twenty Lady Godiva’s, four ponies or a fifth of a monkey… that’s a £100 guv’nor!
£100 for reading some books? Kind of… it’s a £100 in St. David’s 2 vouchers, which is better than money if you have an allergy to paper or pictures of the Queen.
And what do you have to do to get your hands on one hundred pounds worth of vouchers? Simply comment on any three books from the Reading Power Book Club; that’s any book from March’s The Hunger Games through to September’s choice.
Why September? Because the competition is running for the whole of the Summer Holidays (it closes September 7th 2012), so you’ve got several weeks to visit your local library or head down the shops or log-on to Amazon (I think you can buy books elsewhere online, but y’know) and grab some of the books.
Once you’ve read them come back here to theSprout and have your say in the comments section below the relevant book. Do it three times and ker-ching, you’ll be in with a chance of winning the vouchers.
Any questions? Post them below. Good luck!
The Reading Power Book Club is a new virtual book club for young people in Cardiff and involves, Reading Power, Cardiff Libraries, Cardiff Council, theSprout and you!
