Cardiff Duke of Edinburgh's Award
The D of E award is a challenging programme of activities, which help young people to learn new skills, to help others, to experience adventure and to give a great sense of achievement. Many organisations, such as employers and Universities take a good view of the DofE and what it says about the person who has achieved it. There are 3 levels and for each you complete activities in Volunteering, Skills, Physical and Expeditions. In each section there is a wide range of options to choose from or you can find similar activities, which interest you. The D of E Award is about having a go. It's not a competition; you just need a bit of enterprise and perseverance.
