Cardiff Soundscene
Soundscene is based at Cathays Youth & Community Centre which runs a music based youth club every Sunday, from 3.30 to 6.00 pm. If you are a young person aged 11 or over you’re welcome to attend sessions which are socially based and include free practice space for bands, DJs & MCs Get yourself & your friends involved and you’ll have opportunities to perform at gigs, which are held several times a year at the centre, & at the “Under Construction” annual outdoor summer festival. If you want to demonstrate, or learn, organisational and social skills we’ll welcome your participation in putting on these exciting events and in running other music related projects, the latest being an internet radio station. You may also be interested to know that Soundscene offers work experience placements to school pupils and youth members can book practice rooms and the recording studios at discount prices.
