Residential Permaculture Design Course

Coed Hills Rural Artspace

Autumn 2008

Learn about permaculture ethics & principles, permaculture gardening, integrated pest management, low carbon & natural soil management, green energy, ecobuilding, green economics, design methodology and designing integrated systems. The course will include at least one field trip.

Held in the permaculture gardens and forests of Coed Hills Rural Artspace (www.coedhills.co.uk), within the picturesque village of St Hilary, you can expect to find many working examples in place for demonstrating a more sustainable lifestyle. Course participants have the option of staying in Coed Hills tipi campsite ‘Helter Shelter’ or bringing their own tent for the duration of the two weeks. Please note the camping fee is included in the course fees but there is an extra charge for staying in the tipi campsite ‘Helter Shelter’.

START DATE: 8th September

FINISH DATE: 20th December

COURSE DURATION: 12 days (Sunday is a non teaching day)
