Summer Festivals

Every year Cardiff puts on a series of shows, festivals and processions. There are many activities for the family, and events for summer 2008 include:
- From Thurs 3 July-Sat 30 August, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be in the Wales Millennium Centre - look HERE
- The Cardiff International Food & Drink Festival in Roald Dahl Plass will be arriving from Fri 11-Sun 13 July - taste it HERE
- The Lloyds TSB Welsh Proms at St David's Hall will last from Sat 12-Wed 16 July - more info HERE
- Tesco will also be holding their Children's Festival on Sat 19 & Sun 20 July - take a look HERE

- The WOW On The Waterfront Festival is on Fri 25 & Sun 26 July - info over HERE
- Finally there is the National Eisteddfod Of Wales, which takes place from Sat 2-Sat 9 Aug, to finish everything off. The Eisteddfod is coming back to Cardiff for the first time in 30 years and includes poetry, singing and theatre. It attracts over 160,000 people every year, and for more information go HERE
