Cardiff Blues 58 Connact 0

Friday's match between the Cardiff Blues and Connacht was a very one-sided game, with the Blues trashing Connacht 58-0.

The first half is where the action was; the first ten minites of the game was a bit slow with a lot of kicking back and fore and a few mistakes that slowed the game down, although the first try came pretty quickly from Jaime Roberts at seven minutes. After that it took a little while before the rest of the tries came bowling in, and a massive six more were scored, bringing the first half try total for the Blues to seven.

The second half was slower, and a lot looser. Since the game was already won the Blues just tried to open things up and throw the ball. They kept up a good solid defence at all times and made sure nothing got past them. One try was scored by the prop Taufa'ao Filise which was converted to take the score to 58-0. With this win they have broken the Magners league record of most ammount of points difference in a match.

Overall it was a good solid performance from the Blues, with hints of what they can do when they are at their best.
